Hewlett-Packard has launched new range of products in a cloud environment aimed to reducing costs for users. At a time when business enterprises are squeezing all their resources to maximize benefits, the new offerings from HP, Communications and Media Solutions (CMS) on a communications as a service (CaaS) model, the Operations Orchestration ( HP OO) and Cloud Assure ( SaaS) will give telecom companies and SMB's access to state-of-the art technologies while allowing flexibility towards business needs, predict and control operating costs and minimize risks in technology adoptions. The extension of Operations Orchestration allow for the automation of routine IT tasks such as maintenance, provisioning and incident resolution within existing infrastructure physical, virtual or cloud-based by integrating into the IT environment. Developed on pay as you go model which can be integrated with Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud ( Amazon EC2), the OO will help reduce operational costs and improve service quality.
