The Cloud refers to the Internet. Since its early days the first servers on the Internet were storage devices for data and applications. The data on these server were meant to be shared globally- say among scientific community and applications were meant to be run globally. However today new technologies, resources have made it possible to extend the scope of such sharing and running and making it possible to build new genera of applications and also allow others such as ISV to do so using these resources. In this post a list of different resources available on the cloud is provided.
