Cloud computing is more than sending emails, or searching or uploading file and photos. Here some benefits of cloud computing
- Cloud Computing enhances the framework companies need to foster greater co-operation and collaboration among their work teams- which may include employees at multiple locations as well as consultants, suppliers and partners outside a company firewall. In a sense, it is time for everyone to use the power of Global delivery model (GDM) originally credited to IT companies.
- Cloud computing opens up innovative ways to use rich-media capabilities such as integrating video into documents and presentations. Web-based applications make it easy to publish the results of single source file in many locations. For instance, a chart containing "budget details" of a institution may be shared in a memo to executives or decision makers. Presentation can be shared with share holders/parents/guardians. Any changes to the source document automatically flow to the multiple instances of the published document. Here is an innovative application of this feature in teaching- where in a faculty shares all learning resources.
