ScanSafe: An example of SaaS

In an earlier post we had mentioned SaaS. It is mode of service delivery in cloud computing. Here we write about a company ScanSafe which is regarded as the first company to use SaaS business model to offer service and products. ScanSafe provides a wide range of companies, including small businesses and global enterprises with Software-as-a-Service, a model of software deployment where applications are licensed to customers for use as a service on demand.
