Temperature@lert, a leader in environmental monitoring technologies, announced today that their patent for advanced cloud computing methods has been approved. Temperature@lert’s Sensor Cloud service in combination with their Cellular edition (with wired smart sensors or wireless ZPoint sensors) allows for seamless monitoring and alerting through their infrastructure-independent system. This latest patent continues to push their legacy of award-winning monitoring hardware and software as a service.
US Patent 8,547,226 covers an innovative environmental monitoring system where smart sensors would be able to adjust their reading interval based on the state of the sensor. Therefore, if a user has preset a threshold that has been breached, the system would read that particular sensor more frequently during the alarm phase. Once the alert has been cleared, the sensor can return to its normal reading frequency.
