Cloud-Computing Records Management System for Aircraft Maintenance and Business Operations

AirVault today announced that Frontier Airlines has licensed the AirVault Records Management Solution as its new, web-based record management system for aircraft maintenance and business operations. This solution will provide an innovative, cloud-computing method to manage the airline's aircraft maintenance records to increase efficiency for its growing fleet of Airbus A319s and A320s, while enhancing safety and compliance. Further, the AirVault Cloud Computing Service platform will manage other business records applications for the airline including finance, legal, and human resources

Critical Technologies CEO, John Oldham, said, "We are delighted that Frontier Airlines has selected AirVault as their mission-critical information management service for aircraft maintenance records, and fully leveraging the platform for their internal departments."
Airlines today are seeking technologies that can support the broader task of managing a dynamic network of internal and external aircraft maintenance resources, while maintaining detailed tracking capabilities for regulatory compliance. AirVault provides a fully compliant SOC 2 TYPE II service for electronic record management, including fulfilling their regulatory requirements for the FAA, HIPAA, and PCI DSS. AirVault's cloud-computing technology offers Frontier Airlines significant competitive advantages to better manage the bi-directional processes of aircraft maintenance and business records for a more mobile workforce.
"AirVault will be providing Frontier with a platform that is configurable to our equipment and operations," saidAllen Messick, Frontier's Vice President of Maintenance and Engineering. "Their application builds on our current Maintenance and Engineering (M&E) systems and will enable us to implement more efficient and effective processes." For complete post see here
